This summer, Armstrong Scientific Transport had a number of exciting and challenging lab relocations all around the United States. Our commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail ensured that each move was perfectly executed according to the particular needs of our clients, while maintaining the integrity of their specimens and equipment.

Washington State University

We started with two important trips to Washington State University. With moving freezers filled with specimens, along with all types of laboratory equipment, we rose to the challenge. The shipment was so big it would require two trips with our specialized generator-powered trailer that kept freezers plugged in all the way, ensuring protection from degradation by keeping the specimens at required temperatures during transport. The delivery to Buffalo marked our summer's major milestone, reflecting the ability to execute large-scale relocations with accuracy.

Duke University

Next, we headed to Duke University to assist a chemistry professor with relocating fridges, freezers, and a substantial quantity of chemicals. Recognizing the critical importance of handling chemicals according to strict regulations, we partnered with professional chemists to pack all items in compliance with TDG requirements. Utilizing a hazmat carrier for the transport, we ensured that every step was executed with precision and adherence to safety standards. Transporting chemicals requires strict compliance with regulations to ensure safety and prevent any potential hazards. Our team's meticulous approach guaranteed that everything was handled and transported correctly, emphasizing the importance of regulated chemical transport.

The University of Iowa

Our journey continued to Iowa, where we undertook a full lab packing service that spanned three days. This comprehensive service involved disassembling equipment, carefully packing fragile items, and labeling everything for easy setup at the new location. Our team’s dedication and expertise were evident as we meticulously packed the entire lab, ensuring that every item, from small instruments to large equipment, was securely prepared for transport.

Clarkson University

We wrapped up this phase of our journey in Potsdam, where we faced a unique challenge at Clarkson University. Unlike our previous relocations involving consumables, reagents, and specimens, this move involved a robotics lab. Handling robotics required special attention to detail, as these items are not only delicate but also often irreplaceable. Our team used custom crating and padding to ensure the utmost protection, carefully handling and packing each piece of delicate robotic equipment to ensure its safe arrival at the new location.

Conclusion

Stay tuned to see more of our adventures as we head into the second half of our busy period, continuing to deliver exceptional lab relocation services across the nation. Our dedication to minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth transition for every move underscores our commitment to excellence in lab relocation. With each project, we reaffirm our promise to provide reliable, efficient, and secure laboratory transport services, meeting the diverse needs of research institutions across the country.
